Join networks and speak with other organisations

We can’t face the climate emergency alone. Everyone in society needs to be part of the movement to tackle the climate crisis, in order to make a difference. It can also feel very overwhelming to tackle this challenge without the support of others. Being part of a network can help keep you motivated, and means you can learn from others and share what you’ve learnt.

Task

Attend a peer support session

Come along to one of our peer support events to find out what other organisations are doing, share your progress, and even find opportunities to collaborate. We’ll be in touch regularly with our events, and if you’d like to host a peer session yourself, get in touch.

'Being part of Going Green Together has been helpful in understanding more about the climate change agenda and how we as an organisation can play our part, but also encourage others across the voluntary sector to do more. The peer support sessions and training have put me in touch with like-minded organisations across the North East so it’s comforting to be part of a bigger movement that’s trying to encourage change within our sector.’
