Our Offer
We’re inviting voluntary, community, and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations in the North East of England to join Going Green Together. Our support programme will guide you through the process of creating a practical sustainability strategy that fits your needs - embedding environmental care at the heart of what you do to ensure a greener, fairer future for you and your community.

Each participating group will find unique ways to navigate this journey and with the help of our partners at SmartCarbon and Genee, they will have subsidised access to carbon monitoring platforms and nationally recognised environmental awards.

What does this look like?
Through the programme you will benefit from:
- Access to our tailormade online Sustainable Pathway - guiding your organisation through planning and implementing environmental change
- 1-1 organisational support from an dedicated member of the Going Green Together Team to guide you on your journey
- A network of peers for sharing support and knowledge including regular events, workshops and training from the team at Going Green Together and our partners
- A monthly newsletter that includes regional funding opportunities and events to enhance your work
Access further opportunities
As part of the programme, you will gain access to subsidised opportunities from our training and consultancy partners at SmartCarbon and Genee.
Including:
- Membership of Investors in the Environment (iiE) and their nationally recognised Bronze level accreditation for one year. This includes support and training through the iiE framework and its accreditation requirements with the environmental consultants at Genee.
- Access to the SmartCarbon calculator or SmartCarbon Lite - comprehensive tools and training to aid you in recording, managing and reducing your organisation's carbon footprint. These two options offer a suitable framework for every organisation - be it for those looking to gain comprehensive data on their carbon emissions, or a streamlined option for organisations with a simpler structure and fewer staff.
Going Green Together will provide your organisation with heavily subsidised access to these benefits, based on the size of your organisation.
